I have done this several times. I have even found a dog hit by a car and knew whereit lived. So even when I knew I would be late for work I took the dog to the ownwers house. I knocked on the door and a lady told me ( Oh just leave it on the porch, My son will take care of it when he gets home tonight)
I told her No I wont. This dog is in need of medical attention! Now! I ended up taking the pup to the aspca and they treated it there and found a wonderful home for her. Two months later a guy shows up on My doorstep and says I need help my dog is choking ( this was the owner of the car accident pup). So I go with him and there in his back yard is a pup about a year old it had a choke chain on and it had grown into it's neck!
I got some cutters and cut it so he could get a breath. Then looked at the guy and told him he should never be able to own a dog again!I wanted to say more but I let the cops take care of it. The dog had to go to the aspca. They had to operate to get the chain out

I know that he got a fine and can never adopt a dog also if the aspca finds out he has one he'll go to jail and get more fines. I still can not see how these dumb jack butts can do this to these poor pups.
