I agree, the breeder I got Kiki from (been doing it for 11 years, with NO congenital health problems in her dogs) charges $600 for males, and $800 for females. She could easily charge more, as others in this area do, but doesn't, and I respect that. Her dogs are in the 4-7 lb range though.
I don't think 1,000 is a BAD price, but I also don't think it's a GOOD price, esp. considering that this isn't an experienced breeder, proven blood lines, etc. |
