Kia is feeling pretty well normal now; as she lost a pound or so, her appetite is huge-but then, it normally is. The lost pound does NOT have to be found, as she was a little Porky Yorkie for a bit. Now if I could only lose it so easily... We have begun walking again, but it will take a couple of weeks before we are up to our five miles a day.
I am not sure about her eye-the swelling has gone down a fair bit, but after taking one stitich out, it is obvious her eye is still turned outward. I can see the pupil in the outer edge, but the inner is till just pink. I pray she does not lose the eye; if nothing else, I cannot afford more surgery! If it happens, I will somehow manage, but the initial bill was over half my monthly income. Luckily I have an understanding veterinarian; he knows I pay, albeit slowly. |
