[Bama Yorkie Mom]

I've always used a harness on Kizzy. Since we have our fenced in yard now, I have her and Maggies collars on during the day. I leave them outside to play off and on and I want some id on both of them and I dont like them wearing harnesses all day. So they both wear collars unless I take them outside the fence then I put their harnesses on them to go for walks but I dont walkthem that much now. They have plenty of room to run all over the place and play with out having to be walked. And believe me they get plenty of exercise. They run up and down about 8 steps a day everytime they go out to potty or to play. They lay on the deck a lot but when they want outside I like to make sure they do have id on them just in case something should happen and them figure a way to get out of the fenced area. But I agree with the rest. If your gonna put a leash on where their gonna have to tug make sure they wear a harness. I take my dogs collars off every night. I would never leave them in their harness or collar over night.
