Wow, look at all the different sizes we have from the babies at less than 12 weeks! I bought Pirogue at 8 weeks and when I took him to the vet a few days later he weighed 2.10. Now at a year he weighs 9.8. I got Lady when she was 5 1/2mo. and she weighed 5.2. she weighed 6.2 at a year. Autumn weighed 1.6 when I got her at 10 weeks. Now at 9 mos she weighs 5.6, I just weighed her and she's gained a whopping 4oz. in a month! lol Matty was born the 4th of this month and hubby thot she must weigh a # now, so we had to weigh her too, she weighs 12 oz at 12 days. Her daddy weighs 3# and Lady is her mom. I thot that getting Pirogue at over 2# and him being so big that if I got a much smaller pup that he/she would maybe be 3# grown. lol @ me. After I bought Autumn I was so afraid she wouldn't get big enough to breed. I kept pestering the vet "is she going to reach 5#?" until I think he got sick of hearing it. Sylvia |
