Default climbing stairs

I have seen them check the eyes.....but now I wonder what they are checking for when they do......sight or other health conditions. I am not sure if the ramp would work at this point beacuse if he is feeling pressure in his legs , so to speak, I am not sure that he would not feel the same discomfort on the ramp as the stairs. This does not happen when he goes up the step on the out side of my house. It is only one step but he has no problem. And where we used to live it was about 5 steps...that was about 2yrs ago. I notices it on these steps only.......he has at other times or in the past missed a step and stumbled but we all do that.

Well thanks all of you for your concern and I will be looking into what might be causing this and will keep you posted. Any ideas are welcomed.
