PA? I'm just trying to picture where you were..could you mean Harrisburg?
If so, it probably wasn't Amish as there are not many near Harrisburg.
Unfortunately, pa is known for puppy mills, and I have seen some in Lancaster, but would be interested in more info on where you were.
