I didn't say the children WOULD smoke but that they are MORE LIKELY to according to studies. There are exceptions to every rule. If your kids don't, then good for them. But my husband didn't even start until he was 18 after being exposed to it all of his life. My mother-in-law STILL hides her smoking from her mother (she's 58) because she was raised in a non-smoking home. My sister even took a drag every once in a while in high school and no one in our family smoked. Then I also remember growing up and teenagers would steal them from their parents and smoke them a block away from school. It's not a rule, but more like a tendency. I have also had friends who saw fist hand what their parents went through being addicted to cigarettes, alcohol or even drugs and vow never to do it also. Here is a recent study on it:

Reading about that and not wanting his son to go through the same thing he was is what got my husband to stop smoking and I was hoping that it might help Kim too. I don't know what it's like being addicted to smoking, but being addicted to anything is horrible and I really feel sorry for people who have to go through it. I'm addicted to just caffeine and I hate it. But please Kim know that if my husband can quit smoking, it can be done. I wish you luck and I hope you're doing good today.
