We have one for our great dane so she wont have back, neck and shoulder problems later. We read to do this in the Great Dane books. My husband actually went around to all the petstores to get some ideas and then came home and made the MOST BEAUTIFUL one from scratch! Its awesome! I was really proud of him!
So now that Our dane Sophie has one, he is going to make the new puppy one just so he has one sitting next to hers, it will be cute! But since Yorkies are so small anyway, I dont know if it serves any purpose really? My other yorkie, Peek, ate out of a bowl on the floor for 9 years and he never had a problem. I would say they are mostly just for fun, right?
