just make sure you keep him on antibiotics. I used benadryl and robitussin. (the vets idea) it did help. It does take a long time to go away. I hated to hear her cough...she still does in the morning and when she gets excited. And she is 5 months old now. So she had it for along time! But if it is just kennel cough you dont want it getting into his lungs...Good luck...
