I wanted a monkey before too, and unlike your bf, mine didn't mind if we got one. I googled pet monkey, and changed my mind after one site! All these stories of monkeys attacking their owners. Very scary. Remember, these are wild animals and will always be wild animals. There not meant to be pets, and even though the monkey can be the sweetest, it will still have those instincts. Please research this before you decide. I was heartbroken, but I'm glad I found that out before I saved up for one.
