Whenever I have a whelping coming up I give a heads up to my Vet(s) and local breeder friends. Things can still go wrong but sometimes you need someone who is right there with you to help you through.
Whether it is a first whelping or 20th whelping, nothing ever seems to go exactly the same. Sometimes tragedies happen, sometimes it is okay.
All I know is that i am exhausted for days with the stress and worry after a whelping. |
