Well, she looks all yorkie to me! If you're wanting to grow her hair out, do it. Don't let other people influence what you want to do. She's your puppy. She still has her puppy coat. When her adult coat is all grown in, it will probably still be thick (be grateful for that), but will probably be easier for you to handle. Again, she's beautiful.
