I am not a trainer but ... it literally took mine just a few minutes to learn to sit on command. i took a treat in one hand and with the other hand pushed on their behinds to make them sit while saying sit. when they sat down i gave them the treat. only took a few treats to get it across to them.
next day i said sit and waited.. they did it! with a treat! they trained me good.
