Good question, as I wish Sadie would bark. I have had her a little over three weeks and she has only barked 6 times.
She is a three year old lady, and fully housebroken, but the problem is that I live in a tri-level home and I cannot see any door from where I usually am. I have a deck door off my kitchen, but she cannot go out there to potty.
Right now I have newspapers on the deck, hoping she will start using them.
I do keep a small bell on her collar, and that does help. She is always following me around, but if she disappears, I notice she is sitting by the door.
What a sweetheart.
