I met my bf a little over three years ago on the 4th of July. My friends bf at the time told me that he was bringing a couple of friends from Northern California to our annual 4th of July party in Newport Beach. He brought one. Needless to say, I had been drinking a lot that day and ended up in conversation with him for a long time. Can't tell you what we talked about because I don't remember. We ended up hanging out the entire day and night. He then ended up staying for the next two nights too. When he left a few days later, I remember looking in my rear view mirror at him. I was kind of bummed because I thought nothing would come of our weekend together. We exchanged numbers, but I figured he wouldn't call because he lived so far away.
Well he did call and we started seeing eachother as often as we could for the next year and a half. We moved in together in March of last year and recently got engaged. We are getting married on April 14, 2007.
On a little side note, my friend Sharal married Brian's friend Tom in September of last year. I have been friends with Sharal since I was five and Brian and Tom have been friends since they were five. When I was a little girl, I always thought it would be cool to marry a guy that was good friends with my best friends husband. Well now, it is actually happening. I am so fortunate to have met Brian when I did and I truly feel that it was our destiny to be together.
