I LOVE that show and I love the monkey too. But if you continue to watch the show you will see that they were not able to keep the monkey because it required soooooo much attention and work and for some reason they couldnt have it in the same room with the dogs so all her dog were outside all the time which of course they didnt want to do that to the dogs.
Plus monkeys are hard to potty train and so they can be sooooo messy and dirty. One of our local "exotic" pet stores sells a tiny little monkey and it potty's everywhere. It stays in a cage but it can climb up the sides and shoot its pee outside the cage. Its quite gross but the monkey itself is absolutely adorable.
