DOn't beat yourself up over it. It sounds like youre in a crappy situation, but whats done is done and you learn from these things. It's a down right shame when people take advantage of caring people willing to put themselves out for other. One thing I have learned is never, ever loan money out if you need it or expect it back. "things" always come up and people can't always get it together enough to pay back. And as for not wanting to feel mean, sweetheart, you were nice once, don't think twice about it. You have to do what's best for YOU. You gave this jerk a chance. GOod luck and keep us updated!
