I have a 2 1/2 yr old yorkie girl~Sadie~She is sooo spoiled!! I decided that she needed a playmate. The breeder that I bought her from didn't have a litter at the time (she was about 1yr old) so I had to wait. FINALLY she had 2 pregnant females!! Little Lillie came home last Saturday!!! YAYY! Anyway, I was real worried how Sadie would react to her being the only furbaby in the family...I really thought I was in for a tough time...WELL! much to my surprise Sadie LOVES her new fursister!! She didn't care too much for her on the first day..Each day gets better and better...They were playing so hard yesterday I had to stop them lol... I didn't want the puppy to get to tired out (you know the hypoglycemic thing) At first it broke my heart everytime I would hold Lillie..Sadie just laid there and looked at me like "am I being replaced" I thought to myself..."What have I done to my poor little Sadie Mae?" But, now!! She just loves her...THANK GOD! I have heard you shouldn't have just 1 yorkie.. I agree..I think it would be great for you to get another...your little one needs a playmate too. And I have 2 females..
Good Luck
