I took a cooking class about this stuff.. scent the eggs are cooked, they are fine.. you can eat them up to a week after you cook them...
The potatoes on the other hand, have had time to grow icky thing that will make you sick, so toss thous OUT. U could have used them IF you stuck them in the ice box to cool down faster so it would not have time to grow things.
It the essayist way to explain it with out going into the whole temp. thing of when are how hot or cool it has to be or not be to grow icky stuff on your food...
Oh BTW I know this INFO bc I am studding to be a chef.
