Stehpn is the one that sent me to a breeder here that doesn't show, but is VERY reputalble. The other, Evenstar, just seemed to busy, but with 20 dogs at home, guess that's understandable. I showed my dogs along with many other breeds for others, worked with and for, some of the top handlers in the country to learn all I could and found people much more willing to help than what I find around here now. Oh, well, it doesn't discourage me, it just encourages me! I've read everything I can find on grooming the ears, so I guess I will just continue to take a little more off each time till it looks right. Practice make perfect, huh! Charlie/Evenstar is very busy, she has a regular job plus yorkies. Sonja is also very busy.
I don't understand why the lady wouldn't help you with ears. I can understand grooming secrets. But, I for one don't believe that telling someone what products you use on your dogs is going to give someone the winning edge. You either have a good dog or you don't. What is it you'd like to know? I'm more than willing to help.
I will explain to you that I've not been showing for an extremly long time. But, I have finished 3 Champions in a year.
