I don't know if it's normal or not, but I think it's sad too. That is why I take my babies not only for their annuals, but also for a 6 month wellness exam, complete with physical and blood work. I want to be able to catch anything before it becomes a health issue. I also take them or at least call for anything I feel is unusual. I've been truly blessed with healthy adults and babies (and caring Vets).
