confine the mom in a small area that she can not get out of...then hold the mom down and get those puppies to latch on and keep a hold of the mom praising and petting her for doing what you ask...KEEP HER CONFINED! You will lose these pups if not...get rid of that heat lamp, place heat pad under the crate only on half on the lowest temp...your pups should be feed every 2-3 hours for about the first week or two depending on weight gain.
