The breeder I got Rosie from said that she will sell her dogs to a pet store if she can't sell them. She said that she really didn't want to but did not have any other choice if she can't sell them. This was not a puppy mill. She gave me the AKC paperwork for my dog and was a very reliable breeder. I have not had any problems and got two other people to buy her dogs. They too have not had a problem.
That said, I still would not buy my dog from a pet store, but the store owner MIGHT not have been lying. |
