 Was I lied to?
Today after work I stopped in a pet supply store that I don't normally go into. As soon as I walked in I saw a very long row of PUPPY CAGES!! I went over and looked at the dogs and asked the man working there where they get the dogs from and he said from BREEDERS... I asked him why on earth any breeder would sell their puppies to a pet store and he said it was because they couldn't sell them otherwise. I then asked if I were to buy a dog from the store if they had all of the contact info of the breeders and the appropriate paperwork and he said yes. Was this a boldface lie?? Any respectable breeder I've come across would just as soon keep a puppy in their household for its entire life before selling it to a pet store. What are your thoughts? Was this man lying to me?
P.S. Thankfully there were no yorkies there, otherwise I might have whipped out the American Express card and immediately taken them away from there! |
