Well, if you bought the "old" formula that does NOT have "ocean fish meal" as the 4th ingredient and instead has "turkey meal" as the 4th ingredient, then it is completely 100% safe. If, on the other hand, you RECENTLY bought Chicken Soup and it has "ocean fish meal" at the 4th ingredient, then there is a slight chance that it has this preservative because there was a 2-3 week period when the supplier of the ocean fish meal was using this as a preservative. However, it has been confirmed that their supplier is
no longer using this preservative in the ocean fish meal, so any Chicken Soup you buy from here on out is safe.
I am going to continue to feed my pups the food I just bought. They couldn't have produced THAT many bags of the "bad" formula in the 2-3 week period.
