Anyway, I just left Buddy, and he is PITIFUL! This 17 lb cat climbed up in my lap and "talked" to me the entire time I was there. When I left, he laid down on my feet to keep me from leaving.

I don't really care for cats, but I hate seeing him this way. His "parents" will be home tomorrow night and I know he can't wait for them to get home.

Anybody know what cats like to play with or what kind of treats they like? I'd like to pick something up for him and take it over after work today to maybe get his mind off his Daddy and Mommy.

He sounds like a sweet cat, most males are that way. My female is very shy and when she wants attention she just comes closeby, a couple feet away and lays down expecting you to pet her if you want to.
As for toys, anything with a string or even just a ball with a bell in it. Cats are pretty simple when it comes to toys. Anything with catnip in it is a bonus too. But I'm sure nothing replaces his mommy and daddy, but it's nice for you to come there and give him a little attention. Good luck.
