I have Yorkies, my Mom has Malteses, and they get along really well. They seem to be calmer, especially in the puppy stages. They are more upkeep though because of one just being white and two, they seem to matt a lot easier than a silk coated Yorkie.
Just a note, you mentioned red eye goobers, I think red is a sign of a yeast infection or something and not normal and can be treated with antibiotics. |
