Gracie is pretty much in her crate at night and when we are gone. Lately at night she has been barking when I put her in. Well I just let her bark and she usually barks about 1/2 hour and then quits.

Lately she has been waking up to go outside at 4:00 AM. I take her out and when I put her back in her crate she does NOT want to go in and barks and barks and barks. Last night she barked until 5:15. I was so desperate for some sleep I let out. Of coure when I got up at 8:00 there was poop on the floor. WHAT do I do about this? My husband is about to kill me. One of my friends said she broke her Daschund from barking in her crate by spraying her with a mist of water each time she did it.
