My oldest son is a truckdriver. For the first time, his wife went with him this week. I've been going to their house every day during my lunch hour to feed his cat, Buddy, and take care of their parakeets.
Buddy is 4 years old and my son rescued him when he was too little to leave his mother. Some little boys were chasing him with ball bats and trying to kill him! My son was a cop at the time and put the kitten in his shirt and took the boys home to their respective parents and told what they did.
Anyway, I just left Buddy, and he is PITIFUL! This 17 lb cat climbed up in my lap and "talked" to me the entire time I was there. When I left, he laid down on my feet to keep me from leaving.
I don't really care for cats, but I hate seeing him this way. His "parents" will be home tomorrow night and I know he can't wait for them to get home.
Anybody know what cats like to play with or what kind of treats they like? I'd like to pick something up for him and take it over after work today to maybe get his mind off his Daddy and Mommy.
