i dont have two dogs, but it took me a long time to figure toby out.... i coudlnt take him outside because he wasnt "legal" in our apartment complex, so i tried the wee wee pads inside....... well, that didnt go to well......... he went everywhere... i tried the pen method after that...... and he did good UNTILL he found out how to climb out...... SO, now we leave him in the crate (he will NEVER pee in his crate) and when we come home and let him out, he goes out on the balcony and pees on his wee wee pad out there (he is now legal) ....... i think that some dogs dont get the idea that the pad is small, instead of the pad is the whole house.... booting toby's pad outside really made a difference in his training...... he was 80% then went down to 0% (rebellious stage).... and now he is about 99.9%..... <-- this is since we got him to go outside |
