Stewie is 6 mos old and had his first accident in a long time yesterday. He peed right in front of me on the living room rug. I couldn't believe my eyes. Anyway, it was a long, hard road. He still doesn't have the run of the house when I'm not home, but I am hoping I can trust him 100% in the next few months.
He's pee pad trained, but I occasionally take him outside. My favorite tip about pottying is to keep repeating the same phrase everytime the dog is sniffing or going and say the same phrase in a scolding manner if you catch them having an accident or if you catch them going where they are supposed to go.
