When I just recently bought my second yorkie I signed a contract and that was very different for me as my first yorkie came from a little retired woman in wyoming whose only stipulation was that i love the puppy I had gotten from her forever. I then studied the contract on my second yorkie (admittedly on the drive home after signing), and I realized much of what was on it was in an effort to try and protect the pup. Such as having her spayed soon to prevent multiple breedings and uterine infections, even that ownership could revert back to the breeder instead of a shelter if the necessity ever arose. So, I have a new found respect for some of the issues on contracts.... |
