It's not really that lamb, venison, duck etc. are less allergic, it's because dogs haven't been exposed to them to develop an allergy to them. So you usually start with like you said a single protein source that the dog hasn't been exposed to and if after a time the dog develops an allergy to that protein, you can go on to the next protein he hasn't been exposed to. |
