Gosh some people just don't understand anything....

Basically some guy (in love with his car) was dissing on small dogs on this one site...

He said, "Did you hear awhile back about the cop in Cali that was attacked and severely injured by a pack of chi's? And all the while, people are bashing on the bully breeds. If you look at statistics of owner interviews, toy dogs attack far more than any pit"

And so I said, "please don't give me crap about pitbills and small dogs. What statistics are you talking about? That is untrue, sorry. Yes small dogs do tend to bite, but does it seriously EVER hurt anyone? Pitbulls kill so many little dogs that is why they get a bad repuatation. Has a Yorkie or Chihuahua or any other small dog KILLED anyone? No..."

THEN he said, "Treat your dog like a dog, and you will get all the respect in the world from me. Its not a little human, its not a baby dressed in a fur suit and its certainly not your child. Dogs are dogs, they aren't meant to pee in litter boxes and wear raincoats and boots. I haven't met a normal toy dog that wasn't treated like a fashion accessory. If i wasn't about to go to bed, I would dig around and find the statistics for you. Big dogs do more damage, duh, and often require stitches or medical care, hence the reporting to the authorities. Any time ANYONE goes to a doctor for an animal bite, it has to be reported. But, this statistic is just general dog bites, not severity, and overwelmingly, its toy dogs. They don't do as much damage but are far nastier than any big breed. A yorkie is certainly not going to do as much damage as a pit, just based on bite circumference and power alone. Now granted, these are overwelmingly owner reported bites from an interview. I think the sample size of the study was around 5000 people from all over the United States, with many different types of dogs. Toys were the number one breed to bite, although not severely."

So then I finally said, "Umm...treat my dog like a dog? I will treat her anyway I want thanks!! Who cares if I dress her up? I usually only dress her up when it is cold. I don't let her wear boots..etc.. but what is wrong with that? If someone want to do that then.. so be it. Who are you to say how a dog is suppose to be treated like? Fine then, treat your car like a car.. stop adding stuff to it for no reason! Treat yourself like how you were created.. go run around naked then! They weren't meant to pee in litter boxes? (mines pee outside btw), well then humans weren't meant to pee in toilets...?? Your logic makes no sense at all."


I know this shouldn't get to me but seriously that guy is so annoying~!
