It is the law here also. However....Cowboy weighs just a smidge over 3 pounds and is one year old....I never got his. It just scares be because of his size. I am going to do it soon though because I feel that him being mature and not a puppy will help factor in. I am very thankful I never got a fine over it...they are quite hefty and they don't accept excuses for not having done it sooner. I'd check the law in your state and then wait til the last minute to get it done. I have 3 other Yorkies and none of them ever had a reaction to the rabies shot. |
