| Are you giving her any Nutra-cal or any other sugar-type supplement??? Sometimes too much sugary stuff can keep poops runny. Lil Bit's poops were runny for nearly 3 weeks...until I started backing off the Nutra-cal.
BUT..... ......We also had an episode of 'tapeworms'..(YUK) After the vet gave her the med for that AND I backed off the Nutra-cal her poops were formed and PERFECT!!!
I was never so happy so see a NORMAL poop on the paper.....(or under the end table....or by the door...)
One week may not be too bad...(not for the pup...yes, bad for you)...but it should not be "watery"...I would worry about getting dehydrated....Maybe you could add a few tiny bits of plain white rice with the food. I know that helps 'sooth' their tummies. |
