I'm not trying to judge anyone, I'm just saying that MOST of the people I've met that say they can't be around animals because they are allergic don't go into sneezing fits when they come to my house. Yes, their eyes get itchy so I know that they are really allergic, but it's NORMALLY tolerable. Most of them just don't like animal or respect them as God's creatures and their allergy is their crutch. Again, I am speaking very generally.
Keep in mind also, that there are those out there that are intolerante of children. They don't go to a children's park, but you can't always avoid kids. The whole thing is just proof that people don't have the same respect for animals as they do for humans. I've actually heard someone say that animals don't have souls and can't feel.  This came from a chi owner!  I guess I've just been reading way to much about all of these cases of animal cruelty and hearing people tell me that I shouldn't do so much for Daphne cause she is "just a damn dog" and it has me in an uproar about the equallity of animals. |
Well Benadryl would not due for me... and I love Animals... I have a Golden Retriever and 3 Yorkies. If a cat gets around me ... I dont just get sneezing fits my throat closes and I have to go to the hospital for breathing treatments... it is utterly awful! I love cats... But I cant have them... Needless to say I dont have med. insurance to get SHOTS and shots and shots nor the money ... It takes a build up of shots for it to take affect and so on... Soooooooo, therefor I just stay away from cats.
So, for a lot of people it is not Tolerable.
