yes, I could feed them one at a time buttttttttttt, you never know what time they will eat. I can fix it for them at 8 or 9 and neither of them may not touch it before 10 or 11, kizzy might not till 2 pm. So that makes it hard. Before maggie came, half the time Kizzy would get up, go out and potty, come in, sniff her food if she even looked at it. I would beg and put her face up to the bowl and everything and she would just walk away. But about 1 or 2 pm I would look around and the bowl would be clean. So I'm not sure what time to feed either, but maggie does seem to eat quicker than Kizzy. Kizzy does a lot of things like me, sleeps late, eats late , or not even eat till supper time.
I dont like leaving food down all day for them to pick up a bite here and there. Its easier to keep up with it if you know about when they eat. Sometimes if they refuse to eat it dry i'll put warm water in it and let it sit and soften some and if i put water in it, I feel like its not a good idea for them to eat it after it sits too long. i've thrown out several bowls i fixed for kizzy like that at 8 or 9 and by 12 pm i would throw it out and not fix anymore till she went to her bowl and seemed to want to eat. So i'm damned if I do and damned if Don't. I think I'm gonna just start putting one bowl down for maggie while kizzy is outside early. then putting maggie in her cage when kizzy starts to eat and see how that goes. Kizzy loves to stay out on the deck or in the yard and watch the birds and squirrels on the other side of the fence early before it gets too hot. and if a squirrel comes in the yard i cant get her in the house even when its hot. she chases it up the tree and wants to stand on the steps and wait to see if it comes down I guess. Some days she will not come 11 or 12 and then she wont eat half the time. Hubby told me to quit worrying about it because they will eat when they are hungry.

Maggie is put in her crate off and on during the day but not kizzy. Kizzy lets me know when she wants out , maggie dont know that yet.
