Without supervision or correction Harley will be nippy and growly with children. He has gotten used to my little cousin Donovan (5 yrs old) but that's after months of training and getting used to him and teaching Donovan how to act around him. If he's around kids he doesn't know especially loud, active touchy feely kids he can be nasty. I don't think it's really the breed though I think it goes accordingly with different dogs. Each dog has their own individual personalities, likes and dislikes. Harley, just happens to dislike crazy wee kiddies!
