Sophie is a fussy eater, so we're always concerned about her getting enough nutrition. Around 10:00 am she usually eats a good portion of boiled chicken, then in the afternoon a snack if she feels like it (for example, a hard-boiled egg yolk, she won't eat the white), and then around 7:00 pm she gets wet food but takes all evening to eat it. She's 16 months old now and weighs about 5.5 lbs, and we'd like to keep her weight there so we leave dry food out for her all day, just in case. Last night she hardly ate any of her wet food, but early this morning she was hungry and ate a pretty good portion of dry food. So far this works for her, and the vet told us it was OK, as long as she's eating.
