Default pick

You are very right...never, never do a puppy pick back..but you must know, sometimes people will not listen and that is what they insisted on. AND soemtimes the fee was NO more then $300/350 at the time..always pay your money and keep all the litter for yourself. If I was offered pick of the litter, I would have been silly not to take it..if there were no pups and that never happened, but if it did, then of course I would not get a puppy either...again NEVER give away your best puppy!!! ..never give any puppy IMO.

I would like to take a poll and hear from the breeders who do a minium of 24 stud services yearly, BUT only ask for payment if the breeding produces a litter? A breeder who has perhaps a few per year might be able to make more lax rules for the services. I have no idea how someone like Betty Anne Durrers keeps up..she lives 2 hrs from the airport..she must have help!! LOL
Best wishes..

PS..my studs had their teeth cleaned by the vet every 6 months..very important for a stud dog..effects sperm count to have bacteria in the gums and teeth. ..you know how much that runs on 4 studs..I am not justifly my practices of charging..I have not had a complaint..I had to turn far too many away..sometimes I needed a break..

I, also did the tails and decalws..referred buyers to my stud clients, no one had to advertize...I was fair to my clients and they were very generous to me.
