I don't know where it came from though LOL.There were no kids at the breeder's house, I work as a nanny and, when I brought him to work first time, he met the 8 year old boy I look after. I have never seen his tail wag that fast before . Also, the boy is very gentle around him, so he's never had a bad experience with kids before. JJ also adores the other (older) boy. But it might be a personality trait though, just like not everybody is crazy about small kids, not all dogs love them. Some only tolerate, some don't like. It might be about all that energy and swiftness kids emit.
