Yep, I agree Austin is the only place in Texas I feel really at home too. I love its funky, accepting, laid back way. Of course the traffic is frustrating, but the rest of its assets far outweigh the negatives. Someone mentioned they didn't like snow - you certainly won't have any of that in central Texas and if it does snow (once in a blue moon), it's gone in about 30 seconds - yes yes I know the Texas gulf coast had a foot of snow this winter - but that was freak of nature!!! |
