When I got my first yorkie, I was looking for a breeder within driving distance who had a female NOW!
I thought I was pretty educated about yorkies but I was SO not! What I was, was very impatient. Luckily, Gracie is a health dog. I would say the most important thing is the reputation of the breeder.
