Awwww, it does sound like you have a REALLY little one on your hands!

And of course, there are lots of fun things about owning them, so I'm sure people felt like they didn't want to "rain on your parade"!

It's true that in many situations they can be much tougher than you'd expect, and I'll confess that in general (both with my animals, and with my kids! ) I tend not to be over-protective. So like I say, that's why I'm grateful that I DID read so many "horror stories" on the net from other people....it's made me much more alert to dangers with her than I otherwise would naturally have been on my own.

So the title I put on this thread just meant to refer to that....certainly owning a little bitty one isn't a CONSTANT nightmare! God bless yours, and good on you for trying to find out what you need to do to look out for her special needs!
