Wow, that was a very well written post. I'm just so sorry that you had to tell this story first hand.

I can understand why you didn't want to post this! And I am soooo happy that nobody "jumped" on you for posting this. You are speaking the truth about your experience, and I hope you're respected for that.
I can remember when I had a Maltese puppy who was about 3lbs. She jumped out of my lap while I was sitting on the floor!!! She banged her head and started twitching and yelping. I was so scared!!! Luckily she was okay. But I know how you felt. And GOOD for you for doing Yorkie CPR! I'm proud of you (take a look under my username...hehehehe).
Anyway, I hope people take to heart what you said regarding tinies. Baby is over 10lbs now!!!!! But even still, people and little kids think she's a puppy! I also have to say that my aunt has a Yorkie who's exactly Baby's age (10 months) and she's only a little over 4lbs. And, she is too tiny for me. She's not fragile (thank God) cuz she jumps around all over, but she's just tiny. I like my substantial Yorkie.
You actually made we want to write a thread about what happened to Baby yesterday. Hooray for Teapots!
