I use a good quality ,steel, fine tooth FLEA COMB with a nice rubber handle.
I LOVE IT and it really gets them smoothed out and tangle free
Whoops I forgot to mention it's one where the prongs aresmooth and cylinder shaped . Not the kind with the flat type prongs.
