All I'm saying is why are some breeds of dogs more expensive then other breeds. & I'm comparing say a 10th generation show quality weimer ($800) to a 10th generation show quality yorkie ($2000); All things being the same, such as vet costs, # of pups, research, & effort on the breeders part. The only difference is that yorkies are in demand. There is nothing wrong with this it is simply business. Yorkies are a product that is in high demand therefore they can be priced higher than other breeds. However, I do find it distressing when the prices are different for different pups out of the same litter. I am not talking male & female, because I understand that females are in higher demand therefore they will be priced higher. However, I do have a problem with breeders charging different prices depending on size.
