I just took my little girl to the vet this weekend and she has yeast in both her ears! We are having to use drops twice a day, too.

I think her weight gain is perfectly normal.

Good thinking on the Nylabone. My yorkies LOVE the Nylabone Healthy Edibles...they have baked-in flavors like cheese, bacon, peanut butter, etc. They are yummy and completely digestible!

My parents' yorkie has this same knee problem. She was diagnosed with it when she was very young. She is now 7 years old and she has NEVER had any problems with it. My parents see no need for her to have surgery since her knees don't seem to bother her, even at her adult age. My parents do feed her Missing Link Plus...the Plus formula really helps their joints. If you are going to start her on Missing Link, I would really recommend the Plus formula. It might prevent her from having to have surgery on down the road.
